Dr med. Alfred Pfister (1910-1990), born in Bern, Switzerland, is the father of Baroness Denise de Loë-Pfister, owner of the Health Center Clinique Lémana.
Doctor Alfred Pfister led a life that combined a scientific and medical career with a humanistic and artistic spirit.
He initially trained and worked as an optician before becoming a country doctor in the canton of Bern. He later moved to Montreux where he worked in collaboration with Professor Doctor Paul Niehans, the inventor of cellular therapy.
A homeopath recognized far beyond our borders and a man of contact, Alfred Pfister was constantly listening to his patients. Gifted with an extreme sensitivity, he devoted his life to alleviating the suffering of others, with a professionalism and a quality of listening which won him an extended circle of patients, both in Switzerland and abroad.
In 1952, he founded the Health Center Clinique Lémana. Today, this establishment enjoys a worldwide reputation due to the scientific successes of Alfred Pfister.
The fruit of his work had to endure and it was his daughter, Baroness Denise de Loë-Pfister, who today owns the Health Center Clinique Lémana. She remains true to his philosophy:
« We aim not so much to add years to your life as to add quality of life to your years. »
