    Micronutrition

Micronutrition – for the continuous improvement of quality of life!

What is micronutrition?

Mirconutrition, also known as nutritional medicine, is characterized by an overall approach that contributes to maintaining or restoring health.

It is based on the relationship between nutrition and health by seeking to correct the physiological imbalances that precede disease. This natural approach will optimize the functions of cellular tissues and organs through the action of micronutriments. It is particularly suited to functional disorders.

Complementary to classical medicine, it consists in satisfying the micro-nutritional needs of each person through a healthy and diversified diet, associating, if necessary, a personalized supplementation (including micronutrients such as vitamins and other supplements).

Micronutrition is a personalized approach that is both preventive and curative, based on a detailed analysis of your specific needs. The Clinic’s doctor-nutritionist will draw up a tailor-made program including dietary advice, recommendations on appropriate physical exercises, elimination of tobacco and stress management.

A nutritional assessment carried out by the doctor-nutritionist will identify dietary imbalances and micronutrient deficiencies: trace elements, vitamins, fatty acids, etc.

An tailored solution will then be proposed taking into account a negative environment that can influence the state of health: chronic stress, lack of physical activity, sleep disorders, eating disorders, etc.

Classical medical examinations can be suggested to identify a possible medical condition.

Who is our micronutrition program for?

Everyone can benefit from the advantages of micronutrition: pregnant women, children, athletes, elderly people.

Its indications are numerous:

  • Digestive disorders and nutrient deficiency
  • The prevention of cardiovascular diseases and metabolic syndrome
  • To combat ageing and degenerative diseases
  • The optimization of sporting performance and recovery
  • The prevention of weight gain and to accompany treatment for being overweight
  • Optimizing brain function in cognitive and mood disorders, etc.

Why does nutritional medicine matter?

Because our nutritional environment (vitamin, micronutrient, zinc, minerals, iron, salt, acid, calcium, iodine etc.) has evolved since the emergence of the food industry and our body is no longer adapted to this new environment. It reacts more and more poorly to these micronutrient deficiencies and new diseases arise, such as cancer:

  • Degenerative diseases (arthritis, Alzheimer, Parkinson)
  • Increase of cancers (35% are linked to food)
  • Diabetes at an increasingly young age
  • Insulin resistance
  • Autoimmune diseases (multiple sclerosis, type 1
  • diabetes, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn’s disease)
  • Cardiovascular diseases (blood pressure, stroke…)
  • Functional colonopathies
  • Obesity
  • Allergies
  • Sleep disorders
  • Depression
  • Any other risk

All these disorders can be linked – or are linked – to a poor diet that is ultra-processed, overly sweet, devitalized, overcooked, aggravated by a lack of exercise or chronic stress.

What can micronutrition do for us?

Micronutrition intervenes by relieving – even curing – existing diseases, but above all it plays a preventive role.

Whether you are sick or healthy, young or old, micronutrition can improve your quality of life, because it helps to:

  • Restore energy, reduce fatigue, improve stress management
  • Maintain intellectual functions
  • Promote better sleep and a good mood
  • Allow us to feel in full vitality
  • Protect our vital organs
  • Maintain muscle mass and a sense of balance
  • Act on the external signs of ageing
  • Preserve a fulfilling sex life
